I've had coffee for years, and in the last few months, I've tried Illy Classico. It has no bitterness and is a good medium roast with nutty and chocolatey overtones. It produces excellent crema and espresso, and it's quite forgiving even if the brewing isn't perfect. In fact, the pressurized can keeps it fresh.
Advantages:

  1. Very stable flavor
  2. Absence of an unpleasant aftertaste
  3. Good crema for espresso
  4. Effective with the majority of brewing techniques
  5. remains fresh in the can.
Cons:
  1. Expensive for what you receive (about $15 a can of 8.8Oz / 250 g).
  2. The flavor is decent but not outstanding.
  3. If you prefer robust coffee, this is a little too mild, maybe try the Intenso.
In summary, it's comparable to the "safe choice" at a restaurant; you know it will be decent but not particularly noteworthy.
